The Welcome
Guests enter Casa Karina through a nineteenth-century teak door imported from Rajasthan, India. Beyond it, a handcrafted Wayuu hammock rests beside a volcanic stone fireplace, offering an immediate invitation to slow down and settle into the rhythms of San Miguel.
Natural textures, artisan furnishings, and vibrant textiles create a warm and welcoming first impression.

Casa Karina's Signature Living Room
At the center of the home, reclaimed hardwood beams from Michoacán frame a double-height living room filled with natural light. Above, the glass-bottom pool allows sunlight and reflections to dance through the space throughout the day.
From below, guests often catch glimpses of family and friends passing through the crystal-clear waters above, creating a playful connection between the interior and rooftop terrace.

The Chef's Kitchen
Designed for gathering as much as cooking, the kitchen combines professional functionality with artisan craftsmanship. Viking appliances, raw quartzite counters, a hand-carved river stone sink, and natural materials create a space equally suited for morning coffee, family breakfasts, or shared meals.
Adjacent to the kitchen, a curated bar stocked with mezcal and wine invites guests to slow down, share stories, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life in San Miguel de Allende.
